Debuting as part of Star Trek’s 50th Anniversary celebration, the all-new touring interactive exhibit, The Starfleet Academy Experience, will immerse cadets in a first-of-its-kind ‘Trek Tech’ environment. Following a student orientation, cadets will complete science, engineering, medical and command courses before graduating from Starfleet Academy and receiving their commissioning in Starfleet. The unique STEM curriculum will blend Star Trek’s expanding universe with current and near-future developments to showcase the everlasting relevance and impact of innovation and technology on tomorrow’s world. Engaging stories featuring the legendary Starfleet officers and personnel will be woven throughout each segment to ensure that every cadet will be looking forward to experiencing their very own voyage to The Final Frontier.
The average time spent is targeted to 60 minutes with additional time available at optional Star Trek games, infograms and displays showcasing Star Trek’s influence on technology. The Starfleet Academy Experience will cover 7,000 to 15,000 sqft and accommodate up to 300 visitors per hour. A condensed version will be available for smaller exhibition spaces.
