Da Vinci: Man-Artist-Genius

On April 15, 1452 a man was born who changed the world like no-one else before: Leonardo da Vinci. Born in the small Tuscan town of Vinci, the illegitimate son of a farmer developed into the greatest geniuses of all times. He was an artist, sculptor, architect, art historian, natural scientist, musician, writer and inventor.

EMS Exhibits dedicated a unique exhibition to the exceptional artist Leonardo da Vinci showcasing all 23 paintings known to be created by the mastermind.

All paintings have been replicated in their original sizes with the help of a complex digital process specifically for this exhibit and are of astonishing authenticity. The artwork is presented in chronological order enabling to understand developments in Da Vinci’s work style throughout the years. The visitors also get to learn about the mostly adventurous background stories of every single painting including the way it was made, the probability of its origins and the identified stops along its world tour over the past 550 years.

Hear Leonardo´s musical compositions for the first time!

Visitors will experience another absolute novelty at this outstanding exhibit by being able to hear Leonardo´s musical compositions for the first time ever. Professor Reinhard Amon (University of Music and applied Arts, Vienna) and Meastro Prof. Contini have painstakingly reconstructed the musical works of Leonardo which accompanies visitors through the exhibition.
